Description
So this is my 7th Foamcore gun model. The others were made some time ago, and have succumbed to disrepair. Foamcore can be somewhat fragile, and as a result there are alot of damaged sights and firing hammers, etc...
This is my new foamcore Mac-10. It was made to scale using a vinyl template (which i made myself using illustrator CS2, then printed on an HP Designjet 8000) applied to foamcore, cut out using an exacto, and then constructed using 1" double sided banner hemming tape. 7 layers thick.
Took me about 2 or 3 hours to make. The most tedious part is just cutting all the layers, as it can be somewhat time consuming. (nothing compared to my foamcore AK-47 or RPG)
Mac-10 sports a removable magazine, moving folding stock, and a fixable silencer.
The only thing on the entire model that isn't foamcore is the finishing nail i used to hold the stock onto the gun.
This is the first foamcore model i've made with a moving part. Very cool. Also fragile as hell. (it's foamcore, what do you want?)
